i've had this whiskey a few years ago and really enjoyed it. i believe it was double barreled. anyways, it was really good and i cant find it anymore!

where can i get some more?

It was Jim Beam product that didn't last long. Not being made anymore. I found an old dusty bottle of it about 2 months ago, the store had it behind other bottles in a cabinet.

I'm sure others can give you better history on it than me, or if you do a search entering Jacob's Well, i believe there is a thread where Chuck Cowdery gave some of the history behind the bottle.

As mentioned, this was discontinued. You might still find an occasional bottle on the shelf, but this is becoming more unlikely.

It was made by Jim Beam. To me, the taste profile is very similiar to Jim Beam Black. So try the Black if you liked the Jacob's Well.

hmmmm. you're probably right about the beam black and jacob's well.

i never got the chance to taste them side by side, but i bet their close.

plus, i can find beam black all day long! thanx
