   I joined the team

The last time I joined the Heaven Hill Barrel Rolling Team, I said that I was "too old" to do that kinda stuff anymore...

Well...they came to me and said that there would not be a "HH, Ladies Team"...I felt bad and could not let Heaven Hill go unrepresented. I told them I would be on the team this year.

Sooooooooooo...Here I go again   ...

At my age there should be special prizes

Here's a link to the last Barrel Rolling Competition  that I competed in...

I'd been wondering if it were going to be Bettye Jo or Jo Bettye to show up to the comptetition.

I would think that with Jo Bettye the gloves would be off!

1. This was the first barrel to get hung...At that time, I was thinking, I hope there is no more...Little did I know what was in store for me :(

2. Here's a picture of our Warehouse superintendent, Kenny Ice

They had a special gift for Kenny during halftime ceremonies    Kenny Ice is retiring after 47 years with Heaven Hill    He is one of the original group that started the "barrel rolling contest" between distillery workers...and he's one of our coaches

I will miss him...He is a fine man    I wish him well

3. Here's Koji, just wouldn't be the same if he wasn't there slippin' in and out between us, while we are rolling

4. Troy on the end...

5. Fubu, getting the barrels lined up...

6. The team, in route, to caputre the first place trophy
