TNbourbon
...wetshaving...It revolves around using a badger hair shaving brush, double-edge razor (old Gillette Safety Razor that your dad/grandad used) and lather cream or soap... Just call me "Dad" or "Granddad", then -- because this is exactly how I began shaving 'down on the farm' some 35 or so years ago. I can't help but chuckle:lol: when you 'whippersnappers' find our old, high-tech stuff 'antique'. Ironically, I was considered 'antique' even then in my family, from which my Dad and two older brothers all were electric-razor shavers. (My decision to blade shave was a practical one: at the time I had a prominent, protruding mole on my upper lip -- long since removed by cauterization -- around which an electric razor could not get close enough.) I've 'graduated' to 8-for-$1 Personna disposable razors and Edge gel, but I still can't abide the irritation an electric razor causes.
