Paging Boone JTS Brown Q

Took a trip to my local spirits store and picked up a bottle of EW. I noticed they had JTS Brown. I understand it is a HH bourbon I had never seen it but thought it was a Brown Foreman label. I guess because of the name.

Can you tell me any thing about it? I did a search here so I guess my real question is, is it worth drinking? Being a Huge fan of EC8YO and adopting EW Green as my everyday pour I thought it could be worth a try.

JTS Brown is a HH product :grin: :grin: :grin: We bottle it in several different proofs and ages...from 4, 5, and 6 year + and 80, 90 & 100 proof...If you have tried the J.W. Dant and liked it, you will like the JTS Brown :grin: :grin: :grin: We don't do alot of this bottling (compared to our EW and EC) but it is quite constant. Bottled in small quantities across all the lines :grin: :grin:

I guess I will have to give it a try.

I had run in to purchase a bottle of EW and one of the guys that works there said they had just got two new labels in. He said I had to try one "Corner Creek" and went to the back and gave me a short pour neat. It was very neat and I thanked him. I’m not sure what that says about me that they are now giving me samples. I remarked that it had a HH feel to it. He said he was sure it was from a private distiller. After some research here I think it could be one of yours too.

So I left with the EW and Corner Creek, but not the J.T.S. Brown, the other new label.

Things have been busy at the Bales house. Our oldest daughter is off to LA Tech in a week. No empty nest issues as we still have three at home. Last year my son got sent home for a few days for dropping a cheerleaders pants. Never a dull moment here.

I have to be in Montgomery AL on business the Thursday after the festival this year. If it was the same week I would be there.
