Just finished my last exam to achieve my Bachelor's Degree. I'm assuming that I passed so no need to wait for my grades!

I'm going to celebrate with a nice pour of Wild Turkey Tribute. This is going to be sweet! I would normally back this up with some other special pours but I think I'm going out later tonight and if I enjoy too many I won't make it!

AND a bottle of Tribute! A great way to mark the occaision. I have mine stashed for when my daughter gets married.

Always looking for another but they are scarce! Not daughters, the Tribute

I have a second in the basement in case of emergency! Well, the Tribute portion of my evening is over. It was very, very nice. I gave the wife a whiff and she agreed that is has a lovely nose!

Congrats Tim. My Tribute may also serve the same function in another 2 years when I receive my BFA. What is your degree in?

If I had any WTT, I'd join you.

The closest I can come is Kentucky Spirit.

Here's to the new, forgone conclusion graduate.

:toast:

Well, the second phase of my evening is over as well. I had a few Blue Moons (beers) and a few shots of Powers (the best Irish shot whiskey if you ask me). Now I'm home and have a large pint of water to accompany my GTS (Fall 2005).

Thank you all for the good wishes. However, I've already been working in my industry for about 15 years so my degree is more of a personal accomplishment then a 'life style' accomplishment. In any case I now have a BA in Technology Management, currently I'm a Director of Network Operations which translates to I boss around the guys that support our workstations and servers.

BTW, the nose on this Stagg is nothing short of perfect. I just stopped typing to make sure and....yep I'm positive, it's perfect.

Tim,

I did the degree thing a couple different ways. As I recall, finishing the one that I did in my spare time (ha!), while working full-time and being a responsible father of a toddler, was the more gratifying. Accordingly, I hereby double my congratulations for your accomplishment.

Under the circumstances I guess I should have a second pour of Kentucky Spirit. :toast:

Yours truly,

Dave Morerfield

Congratulations on the degree man! Sounds like a damn good tasting list for the evening of such as accomplishment. Wish I had a reason to pour some Stagg… :)

Tim-

Congrats!! I am looooooong way off from getting mine, I can't even imagine what I want to major in yet.

I have a WTT stashed away as well. Not sure what I am saving it for either yet...

It is a really nice Bourbon. If it were readily available I'd drink it more often. I'm making the open bottle I have last as long as possible and will not open my spare for many years to come.
