Joe :usflag:Joe, since I don't know how UPCs are assigned, I don't know if the following is at all helpful, but:The closest UPC designator I have in my whiskey UPC database is 85592, which belongs to McCormick out of Missouri. BourbonJoe
An old bottle of "Old Ezra 15 Year Old Sippin Whiskey" which said made at Old Ezra distillery, Owensboro, had the UPC 85676-21875. I also have an identical bottle with no barcode at all. I was just truing to find out who bottled it. Could it be prior to the David Sherman days? At the www.upcdatabase.com/searchform.asp link, you also can enter the brand name. When I entered "Ezra Brooks", I found this:http://www.upcdatabase.com/item.asp?upc=0085676227371which, as you can see, more or less confirms your suspicion. Click on the UPC link after the manufacturer's name, and you'll get a list of Medley products with that code prefix.
