I think it was based on the overall intelligence and handsomeness of the local fans. (Note which city got the most.)

Does that mean that Raider fans are tied for the 5th most handsome or 5th most intelligent? I noticed the Chargers had a pitifully small number. Are they dumb, ugly or is it that San Diego isn't really so much a Chargers fan base as it is Raider Nation South? Poor Chargers.

Actually, it's probably a mark of who has the most gullible fans who'll buy anything with shiny red wax. Sorry upper mid-West (Chicago, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Green Bay).
