Stupid question?

I recently had a friend visiting Chicago bring me back a bottle of George T. Stagg, my first. I'm looking forward to trying it, after hearing the raves from the list.

The proof on the bottle states 141.2, which I understand to be Fall 2005. I was wondering if the release date is printed/written anywhere on the bottle. Is the only way to tell what release it is by knowing the proof of each release?
