FlashPuppy
In the new issue of STUFF magazine (think Maxim), Stagg is listed under the holliday gift giving suggestions.George T. Stagg Bourbon..............$50..............A favorite of critics, this full-bodied bourbon is starting to earn notice from everyday drinkers.buffalotracedistillery.com..............I am actually a little bit worried about this. What if everyone decides to buy a bottle? What if there isn't enough for all of us??????
SBOmarc
I have been classified as an "everyday" drinker...Things could be worse.
cowdery
We denizens of SB.com may be every day drinkers, but we are not everyday drinkers.

Virus_Of_Life
I saw that too Jeremy and I don't think it is the first time; I want to say it was in Maxim last year, but can't recall for sure... And in the new issue of Imbibe Saz 18 gets notice...
cowdery
It was in FHM too. I confess to being the source (though not the author).

CrispyCritter
I just hope that it doesn't result in yet another price jump next year. :hot:
gothbat
It sucks when something you like is acknowledged or praised by the mainstream, especially when it’s something somewhat limited. On one hand you’re happy for its success but on the other you aren’t because popularity can ultimately make this stuff harder for you to get, compromise the quality, or cost more. It’s not surprising though; I can certainly see why it has gained such recognition. :\
Chaz7
No doubt bourbon is making an American comeback. So will more and more find pleasure in the Stagg? Probably. If it's sold out the next time I go will I cry? Nope; I'll just grab a bottle of William Larue Weller...What is scary? Think of all the Stagg and Cokes, or Stagg and eggnog, and other mixed drinks just because Stagg is hot.

cowdery
Ultimately, it's all good. More sales of the kinds of products we enthusiasts like mean more producers will offer more of them. It's the invisible hand of the market. ya know.
