I have been reading posts on this forum for a couple of weeks now and am fascinated. I am relitively new to bourbon, have drinken some scotch but also enjoy craft beers also. the others I am a little experienced in "tasting". So I have recently tried a couple of bourbons, in order of prefernce is Beam Black Label(love the flavor), then MM, then WT101. I didnt mind the taste of the WT but I felt the others had a fuller, richer mouth feel which I seem to prefer. So given those three, where to next? Any responses appreciated.

Welcome here.

From what you have sampled it looks like you are heading in the direction of one from each Distilling House. I would go with Evan Williams,( Heaven Hill) Either Buffalo Trace or Ancient Age brand ( Buffalo Trace) Jeffersons ( KDB) Old Forester 86 Proof ( Brown Forman) If you live where you can get Four Roses or Barton. Bulliet also.

Again Welcome.

What Bobby said. I would also recommend Elmer T. Lee from Buffalo Trace and Old Grand Dad (86-proof or higher) from Beam. You might also still enjoy Rare Breed from Wild Turkey, even though you didn't care much for the standard 101-proof. From Heaven Hill, Henry McKenna 10-year old is very good.

Bobby just beat me to it!

BT (Buffalo Trace) is a super whiskey, that at a decent 90 proof, is crisp, clean tasting and one tends to lead to another!

Nuttin wrong with the others Bobby mentioned but this is one super whiskey you'll want to try.

Glad you like this forum - I don't post much but really love to stop by and "browse" every now and again. Welcome aboard also!
