Just got the New Hampshire newsletter listing their latest sales and what not. They must really be trying to move the Elijah Craig 18 year old as it is list at $20.99 for a 750 ml. That is not a type. It has to be the deal of the year. Ok ok, the year is only two days old but it's still a steal.

Is something going down with EC? The 12yo has been on sale at binnys for $13.99, listed "while supplies last." Its normally about $18.99 for the 12yo and $34.99 for the 18yo.

I don't thin so. EC is a pretty heavy hitter out here. I can't see HH killing off a brand which is doing well.

You are exactly right   Elijah Craig is one of our "flagship" brands    When a order is hanging...we will run it for days and days and days

Here's some pictures I took before (and during) Christmas shut down ...We do alot of additional maintenance while the lines are down. Inventory for the government, fall housecleaning etc...etc...The majority of the employee's take their final week of vacation   This makes for a perfect time to add our upgrades...

The first picture is taken on F-line worktable. This is where we bottle the Elijah Craig add hang tags and inspect

Picture #2 Chris adding heat shrink

Picture #3 Our "brand spankin' new" dual robot    located in de-plalletizer...This high tech piece of equipment will supply the empty glass cases for E and F lines  We installed one last year that maintained O-line...this one will double it's production

We also added a new "wine capper" We call it a wine capper but for those of ya unfamiliar...it actally puts on the metal screw caps    My job during line changes is to change over all the capper's, filler's and make legal fill points  When we don't have line changes I am maintence for D-line...glass 1.75 square---most of the time...ya know...the EW Black, big square botttle?...Well...that's part of my work every night. It's my job to get those order's out

Picture #4 Our Janet    She the filler operator for Elijah Craig....

I tried EC 12yr a few months ago and I wouldn't take a FREE bottle; perhaps you saw my "fuzzy tongue" post. Something bad going/growing on in that bottle. Buyer beware.

Perhaps. Pennsylvania sold it for 12.49 when they phased out the 750 ml. bottles. Now all they carry is the 1.75. Perhaps Binny's is doing the same.

Ask Brett.

I had some EC 12 for the first time the other day. I hadn't posted my impressions yet because I'm not sure how I feel about it. That HH taste/smell was nice (hadn't had any of their offerings in quite some time) but frankly It just made me wish I had spent my money on EW single brl. It could be me. I'm going though a bout of sinus problems.
