..which do I get? I have family travelling to NYC this summer. I will order them to pick me up a bottle (or 11enty billion) when they go. Apparently only the pauper yellow label, the small batch, and the single barrel are available in the US. Will they extend all those to the Big Apple? WTF I gots to know! Thank you!

I'll definitely try all that are available unless the yellow label really isn't worth it (but I'll still probably get it anyway). Anyone know where I can get approximate pricing on this stuff?

In Kentucky, Four Roses yellow runs 16.00-18.00, Small Batch is about 25.00 and Single Barrel runs 30.00-32.00. The higher prices are from the distillery gift shop and the lower are from the open market.

Haven't tried the standard yellow label but as for the other two: It's worth it... believe me, it's worth it.

As someone who has access to pretty much everything, I can certify that all of the Four Roses expressions really are that good. They are both exceptional and distinctive.

Here is the original thread on the subject.

Four Roses will debut in New York on April 4 and they are saying they probably will roll out one more market in 2007. No hint what market that will be but presumably it will be a major metro. Chicago seems like the logical choice, but they aren't saying.
