Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve

I have the 15 Year Old PVW Family Reserve, and it is just wonderful - my favorite bourbon, in fact.

But I really don't know *anything* about it, and this is the only one I've tried.

Do they distill this themselves? (Edit, I see on their web page that it looks like Buffalo Trace distills their products since 2002 - did they do it themselves before?) Are they aged at BT as well?

Are the Old Rip Van Winkle lines as good? Why are there 2 10 year old versions?? (one is a higher proof - but otherwise they both just say Handmade Bourbon)
