Anyone have any info on this brand.

I just stumbled acrossed it and never heard of it.

Is it one of those bulk purchased specialty bottlings?

Here in IL. I've seen both brandy and scotch of the same name/lable type sold in Osco Drug stores. The bottle shape is obviously a knock off of KC, priced at 22 or 23 dollars to entice unsuspecting consumers into 'saving' a few bux:rolleyes: . If I recall correctly the brandy bottle is shaped like Courvoisier VSOP.

Try here, Oscar (the name's misspelled in the thread title, which is why you may not have found it during a search):

Albertson's house brand, apparently, with a California brandy 'master distiller'.

There are some broken links in that trail Oscar, but where it will ultimately lead you is here.

Thanks all. I read FlashPuppy's review and it sounds like one to avoid.

BTW, anyone heard from FlashPuppy lately, did he get shipped out overseas?

One has to admit that the Origine trade dress is pretty sharp, especially for a grocery store brand.

I got a bottle of it for $12 and it was so horrible I could barely drink it when mixed with Coke. One to avoid at ALL costs!
