bourbonmed
Linn, wait a sec. Let's take a closer look at your tab:Take out the Hirsch and what have you got? Two outstanding single barrels, one delicious small batch, and one (very large) bottle of the smooth tasting AAA 10. That works out to an average of around $27 per bottle. Sure, the Hirsch is expensive. But it's also a rare super premium pot still masterpiece that will soon be all gone. It's a special treat to be sipped in the company of great bourbon loving friends, like me. ; ). I've been looking for an excuse to come to Virginia. Thanks amigo!Let us know what you think of the '92 EWSB. It'll be a few months before the new vintage makes its way to Florida. Best regards,Omar
Guest **DONOTDELETE**
Thanks Omar! You can come up anytime my brother, but I would wait until spring. In mid-May the wild Dogwood and Red Bud trees are in bloom in the forests. It's a very pretty time of year to cook out and enjoy fine bourbons.I'll be sure to post a tasting of sorts on the '92 vintage EWSB as soon as I can.I've got an e-mail diologue going with Gary Gayheart the Master Distiller at Buffalo Trace about Rock Hill Farms. So that's another thing I've got going on.Plus I still have to work for a living even though it is my goal in life to do nothing but drink the world's best bourbons all of the time without a care in the world.Pants Away!Linn SpencerHave Shotglass. Ziggi
I guess that bottle of A.H. Hirsch 16 yr. old I saw earlier today at $68.00 is a good price. I'll have to go back out and get it. This way my bottle of Hirsch 20 Yr. old will have some company.
