bourbonv
With brands like "Boots and Saddle" and "Old Stamping Grounds" is it any suprise the distillery is lost to the memory of many people today? Still it was an interesting distillery with eye catching architecture. They were one of the first distilleries to use glass block in the construction of their distillery. I have a great photograph of the column still on my desktop at work, One of the few columns that stood in an open tower so that it could be seen in its entirity from the ground floor. The photo shows the still with a security guard standing on a landing about a third of the way up the still, taken during the second world war.
