TNbourbon
One of the things I am thankful for? You guys! Cheers! To keep this on topic, what are you guys drinking today?I am drinking Hirsch 16yo.Had a fairly large pour of Rittenhouse 21yo single-barrel over a cube with my solo meal of a small, roasted turkey and stuffing basted (originally, anyway) with the remains of a Colonel Lee light whiskey from the Seventies. A good pairing, the rye and bird. For dessert, I'm enjoying -- while watching the Detroit T-giving Day game -- some 1996 Banyuls vin doux naturel from M. Chapoutier. Very nice, and starting to show enough acidity to enjoy by itself. Glad I have a few more bottles.
T47
Happy Thankgiving to all of you! I confess to Holiday stress. My family is somewhat disfunctional, and they always come to my home for the Holidays. So to any of you out there who share in the disfunctional Holiday stress know that your not alone! My family is odd as hell, but they are my family and I love them. As they all leave and I get the last dish in the wash, I will pour myself something nice and sit back and hopefully let loose a sigh of contentment, knowing that I have left them well fed and happy...at least until Christmas!:toast:

drrich1965
Happy T day to you all. I had a nice sized poor of OWVW 10 107- I really like this one. Leather and biscuts on the palate, similar on the nose. Now, after reading another thread on young whiskies, I am having Aristocrat, HH 36 months. Simple, but not bad at all.
