cowdery
As you toast the New Year, don't forget to acknowledge the end of the Fall distilling season. American whiskey distillers divide the year into two distilling seasons. The spring season is January 1 through June 30 and fall is July 1 through December 31. Distilleries typically take at least a short break between the end of one season and the start of the next.
Luna56
Nice of you to provide this reminder, Chuck, thanks. Bourbon is a relatively recent passion of mine and I've gotta say, hopefully without sounding maudlin, that bourbon is truly one of the best things made in America. The good folks that distill, barrel and bottle this beautiful stuff get a big "cheers!" from me.Cheers!

mgilbertva
Here here! On balance a rather good season, especially in the premium segment with amazing releases from Four Roses and Wild Turkey. BTAC, while not the best ever, was still great (love that Thomas Handy!), and OFBB was quite tasty. Still waiting to try EWSB ...Cheers!
