Where would we all be today without Jim?? People may not see Jim on here much, but I know how much work he does "behind the scenes" on this site in his spare time to continuously improve it and make it easier to use for the always growing member list.

I have met so many great people on this site, that I consider friends, or "mates" as we call them down here.

I have only been a member here a little over 12 months, and have been amazed at how much some people are willing to do for someone on the other side of the world that they have never met.

I have had members of this forum send me many bottles, not to mention other bourbon related items that I would only dream of getting in Australia. You people know who you are, and you have my sincere thanks:thankyousign:, I truly appreciate your efforts . Your generosity has amazed me, and also make me realize what a great place this is.

I actually spend more time on here now than on ebay, and that is saying something .

2008 is going to be a great year for me, and I hope it brings everyone what they wish for.

So, here's to Jim Butler and the Straight Bourbon.com community

Total agreement from me to all comments thus far saluting Jim in particular plus all the other supporting gurus who make SB.com the success it has become and will continue to excel to greater heights in 2008. I visited the site for several years before joining in 2006. Many thanks be to Jim and everyone else for all the time and effort spent to educate the once unlearned such as myself. If it weren't for ya'll, I would still believe JD to be bourbon!!!

Never mind that my glass usually contains Diet Coke these days. :frown:
