It's been available at Party Source in Bellevue, KY and at Cork n Bottle in Covington, KY for some time. Might want to call them and have a bottle held for you.

The 40th anniversary Barrel Strength was a very limited production of 1442 bottles. You may find an odd ball here and there but I have not seen them at either of those 2 stores since the month it was released!

You can call but they were long sold out at those places!

You might also want to contact the gift shop at the distillery itself (in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky), as they will be selling them there if they have any left.

They were out when we were there first week of December.

I believe most places had them at about $59.99, IIRC.

Have you driven to KY to look around at a few liquor stores? Will the gas cost you over $40 round trip? :skep::skep:

I did find myself a bottle not too far from here.

Gas is not an issue since I drive a company car and the gas is paid for. That is why I am willing to drive wherever to get whatever !!!:grin:
