bpt
Great, thanks for the tip. I'll pass that along to my friend and see if he knows where those are. I'll let him check for himself and then maybe I'll make a visit as well when I get up there in the summer. Thanks.
T47
Ditto what has been said about the 4th Ave Store. They usually have the best selection of all bottles...not just Bourbon. I have found some nice bottles at the 12th and Pine St. store and also at the 23 and Union store. There is a store in Spokane (#181) which has had the BTAC as well as PVW 15 and Lot B every year for the last several years. My son is graduating in May so I will loose my Spokane connection, but if you know anyone over there they come through. :toast:
CaptainChunk
I am just getting into bourbon so I am looking for a couple more bottles to try out. Being that I live in Tacoma, I thought it might make sense to see what my best options are in the Seattle/Tacoma area are for me.I currently have a bottle of MM and EC12 and tried some Bulleit at a bar recently. Of those, I enjoy MM the most. The Butteit didn't do much for me and I enjoy EC12.I'd like to get another bottle or two, but thanks to the WSLCB, it seems the bourbon selection can be kind of limited. Do you guys have any recommendations for me to try that I can actually find in the area? I was thinking about ETL, but don't know if I can find that around here. Thanks for the help. T47
They have many bottles of ETL at the 4th Ave Store (Store 101) near Safeco in Seattle. If you like MM, I think a great bottle that most stores carry is the Eagle Rare 10, a very smooth drink. The 4th Ave store also had a good suply of Buffalo Trace, another nice pour for a good price. Bakers is another bottle that many WA. stores carry that I enjoy. Good Luck and Enjoy your research.:toast:
felthove
I know the location of some Pappy's right now if you're interested. PM me and I'll let you know what's up. I also have some Stagg I'd consider trading for some Van Winkle.Ron
