spun_cookie
How many different bottles of the 40th were there... I do not mean the 1442... I mean how many different percentages? I know there was 50.2%, 50.8%, 51.1%, 51.4% 51.9%, 52.5%... Are there others?

craigthom
I have heard that there was a barrel that was pretty short and was used for in-house bottles. I don't know if this was the mysterious tenth or not.
spun_cookie
... might be worth asking the distillery...Have you tried them all... or just saving... I would be interested in how you think they compare....Dawn,Thank you. I had seen that post, but must have skipped the info I was looking for... craigthom
They have no more bottles at the distillery. Just by coincidence I stopped by the distillery yesterday. They had plenty of the normal three bottlings out, but the 40th is long gone.By "in-house" I mean it went to employees and such. I don't think they got very many bottles out of that one. There were two barrels that got bottled but did not go out for retail sale because they came in at 87 proof. Four Roses gave them to their employees. pepcycle
I'll ask Al Young if he knows all the lot numbers. He lives a few blocks away.
