razerburnt
According to my local stores dist. and the WT folks the 12 YO is not distributed in the U.S. anymore but there is a store in IN that still gets it from their dist. They just got a case today. It is always available there and they say they order it and get it whenever. They are the split label bottles. does anybody know what the real deal is on this? Thanks. doubleblank
I don't have knowledge of this particular situation, but many distributors still have stocks of long discontinued products. For example, a local store here in Houston ordered and received ORVW Old Time Rye 12yo ...... something not made for many years. But a case was sitting at the distributor and it was put on the shelf for $19.99. My guess is that this IN distributor has a few cases of WT 12 but no one is ordering it because it is officialy discontinued.Randy

craigthom
So what store is this that has the split label on the shelf? If it's in Clarksville, I'll go as soon as you tell me.

craigthom
Come on, razerburnt, give it up!I know it's not the Keg, because I am sitting in their parking lot right now. What I did find here was Samuel Adams Triple Bock, which I haven't seen in ten years. He said he got it a couple of weeks ago and that it's still the 1997 vintage, kept in stainless and released every now and then.I don't know how much of that is true, but it's definitely the Sam Adams triple. I'll crack it open soon.
