Today I found out at least 3 local liquor stores now carry at the Buffalo trace burbon which is up from zero the previous week. Its the first time I have seen em stock BT- and hopefully more of the BT line besides Weller and the young Van Winkles. In fact one owner told me he should be good to go on a line to get some BTAC soon? I dont know when it comes out but I hope he gets some! Anyways my pickups are listed below.

Buffalo Trace 750 ml

OGD 86proof 750 ml

Weller SR 7yo 90proof 750ml

Old Forester 86proof 750ml

Weller 12yo 90prool 1L

Old Forester 2007 Birthday Bourbon 750ml

1792 Ridgemont Reserve 8yo 94proof 750ml

VS Old Fitzgerald 12yo 90proof

Knob Creek 100proof 750ml (came with a little leather bag)

The owner that sold me the fitz told me it was still being made, being a burbon newbie I thought I read it wasnt. Either way I consider it a good addition. And I will look up now to see how old the Forester is as it didnt have an age statement. One owner tried to tell me there was a shortage of Weller 7YO stuff - I tend to doubt it. All in all a good expansion to my collection being that its still mostly sms.

There DOES seem to be a somewhat widespread shortage of the 7yo Weller Antique 107 proof bottling, which leads some of us to wonder whether or not BT might soon take it the way of Weller Centennial and OCs 12yo and Proprietor's Reserve 13yo, being that its high proof (107) would make approximately 1-1/3 bottle of an 80-proofer, or c. 1.2 bottles of a 90-proofer (such as the OTHER Weller 7yo?:skep:)

I hope not, but we'll see...I cadged the last three bottles available locally this week, just in case.

Otherwise, looks like you have some very enjoyable evenings ahead.
