tritioch
Saw the KBD 17yr Bourbon, 21yr Rye, and 23yr Rye on the shelf of the local store this weekend. Seemed to be a fair supply of it.... but I wonder how much of this stuff do they release each year? Checked the KBD webpage and they are very non-specific. Any help would be apreciated. barturtle
As with most of KBD's product line and all of the old rye bottlings, they are of limited volume. There's just not a lot of highly aged product in the pipeline right now. Quite frankly the fact that there are any of the elderly ryes in existence is a mistake due to poor sales forecasts 20 years ago.
mgilbertva
In 2006 I got to try the 17, 20, and 23 yr Vintage Bourbons, and quite frankly, I thought the 17 was the best of the lot by a noticeable margin. By the time it got to 20, the bourbon had lost a lot of life. Not that I would turn it down or anything if the 20 or 23 were offered to me... AVB
I've bought two complete sets 3 years apart and can't find any differences between them. Nothing I saw on the label leads me to believe they weren't the same release. Others may have better info on this.

Way too woody for me.
