The other day in "The Authority Cited" thread Mr. Cowdery wrote

My book made its way to Iraq? Far out!

That got me thinking, where else in the world has Bourbon, Straight traveled to?

The concept of this thread is to document all the places in the world that Bourbon, Straight has been read. Get out your copy and take a picture, show us where in the world Bourbon, Straight has traveled to.

The below picture was taken in front of Al Faw palace here in Baghdad; former home of Saddam and current Multi-National Corps - Iraq (MNC-I) Headquarters.

My copy of Bourbon, Straight was purchased in NYC and resides in NJ, it traveled to Amsterdam, NL with me once but I don't have any pictures. Too bad we didn't have this thread sooner, a picture of me reading it in a coffeeshop or cafe would have been cool.

It went to Cabo San Lucas Mexico, 2 summers ago. No pic, and that IS unfortunate.

I "acquired" a bottle of Jim Beam WL from some bedouin kids at the side of the road a few miles south of An Nasiriyah, Iraq. All it cost me was few Maxim magazines, a couple MREs and a couple bucks. All in all, I'd say I made out like a bandit with that deal!

Edit: Oh, wait. You guys are talking about a book and not weird places you've come across bourbon. Oops, nevermind. I will however, have to check out that book.

Mine was purchased directly from Chucks web site, and made its way to Brisbane Australia where it has resided for the last couple of years

I donated a copy to the library at The Whisky Attic in Las Vegas.

I took mine on my R&R trip this month; Baghdad, Kuwait, Ireland, Atlanta, Dallas, Seattle, Hawaii and back.

Excellent 18 days with the wife, great food and bourbon!

Luckily I saw this thread last week, so I knew to snap a pic while I was reading the book up in Eagle River, WI visiting my son at camp. ER is also the snowmobile capital of the world--in the winter. The Northwoods are beautiful.

On the shelf next to my bourbon. Right where it should be. Thanks Chuck, for a great book and also a great DVD. Joe

Was that eagle at the camp or did you visit Carl's Wood Art Museum?

That's in the lobby of the Eagle River Inn.
