BourbonJoe
Does anyone happen to know the age of Bulleit Thoroughbred?Joe :usflag:
Jono
I can't answer that question...but wanted to add I tasted Bulleit at WhiskyFest...I found it a little rough...probably in character with its old west image....corn was pronounced...not real smooth on the tongue. The original Bulleit -- a 90-proofer, and a BIB named Thoroughbred -- were from '94-ish, and customed distilled for Tom Bulleit by Buffalo Trace. I believe it is this latter one that Joe is asking about.
Jono
Right...the current edition was being poured. My limited tastings of 4 Roses ...both small batch and single keg were a little disappointing...I guess I was expecting to be floored. The BT produced Bulleit may indeed be better.
