Mid-Michigan/Lansing -- Weller Special Reserve availability

Dear fellow Michiganders: Help!!!

I have had no luck finding a current bottle of Weller Special Reserve (the lowest price of the Weller clan) in the greater Lansing area. I have looked at the following stores:

Oades Big Ten

Tom's Party Store (Grand River)

Goodrich's Shop Rite

All Kroger locations

All Meijer locations

Most Quality Dairy locations (some are too scary to visit)

Additionally, I asked the liquor manager at Goodrich's to order some, but he informed me that the distributor is out of stock.

Does anyone know of a store in mid-Michigan that has the Weller SR in stock?

In exchange for information, I can offer the location of Beam Black 50ml bottles priced below state min...a real bargain if you're taking a trip and want to bring some along as "carry-on" sedatives.

I picked up a bottle in Ann Arbor about 2 weeks ago - how wide a search radius were you hoping for? I run up to MI State every once in a while, but don't have any visits scheduled in the near term, or I'd pick one up for you.

You've hit most of the same places I usually buy from, in fact I bought my Weller SR from Toms. I will check on my end of town tonight and let you know.

Has anyone had any luck locating an existing supply of Weller SR in Lansing?

We can check off all three Big Ten party stores (Kalamazoo, Grand River, and Jolly rd.), as well as the party store on Aurelius Rd. between Cavanaugh and Mt. Hope. Tom's on Grand River is still out.

Hi Doc,

I found some at the Boardwalk party store on Bay Rd. in Saginaw. I believe they were asking $18.95 and only had one bottle on the shelf.
