tonight - my first Pappy 15/107

after en excellent tip from jeff/mozilla I found a local store with quite a few Van Winkle products at reasonable prices. there were 8 or so of the ORVW 10yr, a few bottle of Lot B, and four or more Pappy 15/107 (which is what I bought, even though I'd gone looking for the 10/107).

very nice bourbon... great color. spicy, in a good way, to me. a couple of ice cubes and a little bit of water is how I liked it best. I've had three healthy drinks - and I'm confident I'll buy this again. I like it better than the Lot B, which I do like, but this 15/107 is more interesting to me and similarly priced.

I picked up a pair of black/black, magnum Heavy Hearts awhile back along with a pair from the original game warden (satin/snakeskin) release. Also have a few rats. That is a really nice ASH1. So far I've resisted temptation.

By the way, welcome to the board and be careful, PVW15 is one of the finest and very, very addictive... :cool:
