Need Help Finding...

Hello All Members!

I need a big hand. There is something I am looking for and I know there has GOT to be some out there somewhere!

It is called MAD JACK. It is a 100proof Black Licorice Liquor. It WAS made by the Yukon Jack people (thus the name). It has the same shape bottle and label style as Yukon, but it is grey and black.

The last time anybody was able to help me find it, they were from this group and they lived in CA. Got some and we traded cash for the bottles... hehe...

I also would love if ANYBODY knew how to get in touch with the producers of Yukon Jack. Can't find ANYTHING about them on the web ans there isn't a website for them at all...

All your help would be greatly appreciated!

Diageo makes/markets it (distilled in Valleyfield, Quebec), but they aren't proud of it! It's nowhere on their website. They purchased along with the Hublein folks a while back.

I thought it was dis-continued about 7-10 yrs ago? If it is still made, I would be shocked beyond belief AND really excited I could get it! I love the stuff! Like a cult following here where I live!

I'll keep my eyes open on the holiday weekend. Not uncommon to find Yukon in northern Michigan.

If it can be of any help,there is a liquorice liquor made in Holland called dropshot very populair perhaps it is almost the same thing?It is available almost everywhere here.
