2008 Pappy 23 bottling

We just shipped our latest bottling of the 23-year Pappy in October [of 2007]. Our next bottling will be in April/May of 2008.

Given that it's now May, 24th - anyone know what the expected release date has worked out to be this year? I read through a ton of Pappy 23 threads and didn't see any mention of this - but I could have missed it so pardon me if I have.

I don't think it's gonna be until the fall. I think that's what JvW said at Lush prior to W'fest last month.

Somebody help me out. I just purchased a bottle of Pappy 23. It's was on a top shelf for a while and was very dusty. Bottle says it's #229. How can you tell what batch it's from. It does not say that i can find.

If it is from Lawrenceburg, then you have a bottle of the original Pappy 23. See VBT #105.
