Well as you know the 120 anniversary bourbon is out and it sure is good!

Dougdog turned me on to a dram last night, and although my pallet description technique needs work, it is a great pour with a looong lasting finish. I savored it for hours.

Bill, (or Dougdog, since it was your bottle) What was the proof on your bottle? The two I got were almost 105, I think VERITAS had bottles in the 107 - 109 range. I'm just curoius about how wide the variation is.

I'm looking forward to opening mine and getting my first taste tomorrow night.

Just an FYI for Joe or anyone else interested....

Four Roses is barreling bourbon at 105-110 and 120 proof.

I tasted some at the distillery a month ago or so....it was hard to tell it was high proof because of its' incredible smoothness.

Ya know, we were so busy in the moment the proof on that one escapes me but on the two others I have: bottle #203 54.7 alc/vol warehouse JW barrel 7-1E and #49 54.9 JW 7-1B
