spun_cookie
I travel by air every once in a while (during the week) and will have a bourbon or two when available. Up to this point I have been able to get: * MM on AA * WT101 on SWA * Woodfords on Delta * AA/British Int. has JB Black ... The others I fly (X-Jet, United, America Worst/USAir, ...) have Jack Daniels, Blended whiskey, Scotch, etc... So today I was fortunate enough to get bumped up to first on AA.. and ... what... AA no longer will have MM. Now I am very hot-and-cold on MM.. depending on the bottle I get, but it is better than JD everyday of the week and twice on Sunday :skep: ... so looks liek I am SOL for bourbon on AA now..... :smiley_acbt: Anyhow, anyone else here travel and what do your Planes, Trains, and Automobiles carry
sku
SWA has WT 101? I fly it all the time and never noticed. Usually I'm to and fro on business and not in the drinking mood, but I've got lots of drink coupons. If staying overnight I bring a flask with my beverage of choice so as not to be ripped off by hotel bars with bad selections and high prices. smokinjoe
You know, I wasn't aware of the WT on SWA, either. I thought they were JD only. Maybe, that's new? Anyway, good to hear they have WT now. Besides the SWA, and occasional AA flight, I'm almost strictly Delta. Woodford only. They used to carry MM, but discontinued a couple of months ago. I think that may be the case in Delta Crown Room, as well. As a side note, The TV's in the Crown Room show a short, but very well done infomercial on Maker's Mark. I wonder if that will go away.JOE

spun_cookie
The AAVantage Rooms still have MM, but the planes were going to have JB Black... then they decided against that as well (at least it seems right now).... I think SWA (at least on the west coast) has had WT 101 for a very long time... In the past I have been known for filling up a 3 oz or less container full of good/grat bourbon and enjoying it on a lont (5+ hr) flight... Did Staggs a couple times (looks dark in the glass and no one questions it)... 3 oz of Staggs neat will get you buzz on at a mile high...
