Jono
Aaron Katersky just broadcast a radio story on the export Bourbon boom to Australia, Spain, India and China among others. He reported that this is a good time for bourbon makers, despite the increasing cost of grain, bourbon is a relative best buy in the spirits world. fishnbowljoe
Can't believe it. My wife got home from work today and told me she heard something on the radio that I might be interested in. She had heard the same story on WGN. What a small world. Joe

SippinJim
Jim Meehan, bar manager at PDT in New York City, said the same premium small-batch products that made him a bourbon drinker in college are attracting new fans. "You get a taste for bourbon, you don't stop drinking bourbon," he said. Yes sir! I couldn't have said it better myself!

OscarV
I to heard a radio story yesterday about bourbon but they focused on Jack Daniels. In the above ABC article it said that Wild Turkey for the first time shipped a million cases world wide.I am in the wholesale beer business and our distribution area is one county, Washtenaw, the biggest cities are Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. We sell beer for only one brewer and our annual sales are at least 1.3 million cases per year. When I hear bourbon sales numbers it always seems like it is not much at all.
