Is $154.97 too much to pay for the last-ever bottling of Hirsch 16 y/o from the defunct Michter's distillery?

IMO, yes. If fact I have a bottle I don't want, but I refuse to sell it to an investor/sucker on eBay at such a ridiculous price. I overlooked this bottle four years ago when I sold the rest of my stash for what I paid Binny's for it when it was first released. The buyer may be financing his first-born's prep school tuition with the proceeds, but I don't care. Willing buyer/willing seller and all that.

If you have a track record of flawless transactions with other members here and are interested in taking this over-hyped bottle off my hands, make me an offer for a trade. I have in mind some of the limited bottlings from Wild Turkey or just about anything from Van Winkle. (If you think I might be insulted otherwise, feel free to offer two bottles in exchange for my one.) However, I might consider just about any rarity that I haven't had a chance to try.
