rockporter
Went to Brooklyn this past weekend in the searing heat for a party. The bright spots were a "wine and likker" store in the Red Hook section called LeNell's - small place but lots of good bourbons and knowledge. Different types of biiters an vermouths as well. Also, Gin in a bath tub. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out. My wife got vodka made in China! I picked up some Blantons and Willet's - hard to choose because there many not available to me near home. At the party, no bourbon - so I had JD with a splash of soda. Going back to a friends before bed, he opened some Basil Hayden's. Nice, sweet and light - a good way to end the evening.
BourbonJoe
LeNell is a friend to SB.com and a sweet person. I'm glad you found her store and purchased a few things.Joe :usflag:
