Megawatt
I just opened this bottle tonight. Putting my nose to the bottle I was pleased to find forward aromas of sweet, grassy malt. Reminded me immediately of Glenkinchie, of which I'm an admirer. This similarity persisted all throughout my first glass. Very fresh, honeyed taste, slightly fruity and almost perfumed. Slowly becomes spicy and a tad bitter. Sweetens again on the medium finish. It'll be interesting to compare this head-to-head with Glenkinchie Distillers Edition. Very glad I picked this up.Ontario residents take note: the LCBO Online Vintages selection is clearing this out at 28% off the regular price. That's $19 off! Attila
Its a very popular brand produced by Suntory.I always thought there was a pungent yeastiness in all the Suntory whisky brands, but it seems like I am the only one who ever notices this.
