Luna56
Fresh bottle of FR1B here, going for a second pour right now. This one's got a lot more of the saddle soap flavor than I've ever gotten from any FR before, not sure I like that. I might need a few more pours to confirm that. Difficult night, nice to have some good bourbon to smooth out the rough edges. Cheers!

funknik
Last night I had an Elmer T. Lee Julio's Barrel before dinner and some Weller Anqitue watching the Celtics kick Magic ass.It was my first time having Elmer T Lee -- that is a very nice bourbon. tommyboy38
None because I'm at work and that would be frowned upon but it's a lovely day and I'd rather be outside drinking.

Luna56
Just poured some FR1B (Julio's bottling). Still getting the saddle soap big time.Of all the FR1B's I've had, I like this one the least. Even the mouthfeel is a little off compared to all the others I've had. I'd be curious to know what Julio's found appealing enough to select it. It's still damn good bourbon, though, and I'm enjoying it very much. The friend who got this for me had a positive experience with Julio's, so, hats off to them. I'll probably have a Baby Saz for a nightcap later on. Cheers!

gothbat
A pour from my last non-BHC, Frankfort Weller Centennial. It was a while ago but I remember that the last few bottles I had of this were not as good as the first one I had (probably one of my most memorable bottles ever) but this one is right on par! If it were older it might be almost the same as PVW20. Man I wish they hadn't discontinued this one, I think I'd have been happier to have seen any of the other Wellers go in place of this one, even Weller Antique (well, maybe Antique...). docbible
Visiting friends in Nashville this weekend. Revisited the hudson bay manhattan rye, baby bourbon and 4 grain. The 4 grain is starting to grow on me. My first impression had the grains working against each other but I am slowly comming around to the complexity. tim
B3Nut
Unwinding from an almost 14-hour Saturday workday (Windows domain migration...workstations at two sites to migrate...ugh) with a Manhattan made with the '99 EWSB...makes for a fruity and flavorful Manhattan. It's going down great with some Miles Davis...

Pieface
Took in a flight of three last night. Started with Booker's and WT8 on a cube and finished on WTRR101 neat. The RR101 was stellar last night. Cinnamon spice and dried fruits with a great lingering finish. Everything just felt really balanced in this one whilst still packing a punch, admittedly I was getting a little tipsy
