Sipping a little of Beam's Red Stag tonight. We have several people camping with us this weekend... Funny thing is that a lot of people that don't normally care for bourbon really like this.

Beam will be delighted to hear that, Hondo. Sounds like their target has been hit.

Heading out to Ted's Montana Grill for dinner. Can there be anything more apropos than Buffalo Trace? This BT is a great starter. :yum:

Winding down from a great private-party outdoor gig with a neat pour of WT101. Just darn good sippin' hooch. :)

Sitting out in the garage listening to the Brewers and Twins on the radio. Already listened to the Bravos sweep the Jays in interleague play. Anywho, I'm am absolutely enjoying a very healthy pour of Heaven Hill BIB Old Style Bourbon 6 yr. I picked this up in Kentucky during the Sampler, and have been enjoying it ever since. It is extremely dark. Actually, it may be the darkest bottle I have in my inventory. It delivers a big nose, charry and rich mid palate, and the finish is long and memorable. This bottling has become my favorite current offering, from the HH House.

Benchmark from the 70-is before dinner and vintage rye 21 after. I had my son’s home for dinner and we had oloroso sherry, red wine and Madera with the food.

Was making a little bourbon creme brulee using Old Heven Hill BIB NAS, decided I might as well do a quality-control pour. Yep, still good.

I'm celebrating finally getting my back porch project finished! :woohoo: (Except for a couple of very minor details.) Had a pour of ER 101 when I got home from work. I finished supper and now I'm having some Weller Centennial. :yum: I've got a few more projects planned this summer. If I treat myself to some good bourbon each time I get one done, maybe I'll get more done. :skep: Nahhh. :slappin: Joe

I think the table looks better with the bourbon on it.

Sweet job on the room, Joe.

In honor of it being complete enough for pics, I'm enjoying a pour of ER 10/101.

Basil Haydens with lemonade and a dash of bitters - on ice, of course!

After a trying 24 hours, I'm relaxing with a pour of Old Forester Signature with a dash each of Peychauds and Blood Orange bitters over a couple of rocks.

Another half day and I'm home free.

OK, here's to the weekend.

I found a bottle of Bulleit that I forgot about.

I am serving it (to myself) in my traditional manner.

That would be jiggers poured over cracked ice.
