And don't miss the chance to get a bite at Manny's.

Chuck,

Are you getting endorsment checks from Manny's, or is it just that good? :70358-devil:

I would do it for one pastrami sandwich but, alas, I don't get even that. I just like Manny's a lot.

Thinking the middle of next week. What would be the easiest way to get and order in at the South loop store. Want to make sure you have a case of each of what I am looking for. It shows on Binnys site that it's stocked, just want to make sure it's at your store. http://www.binnys.com/cart/

Well my Son and I got up to Manny's, I mean Binny's yesterday. Well actually both. Don't know which I liked more. Walked out of Manny's with a full and I do mean FuLL belly and walked out of Binny's with a full trunk. A case of my beloved Weller Antigue 107, a case of Eco Domani Pino Grigio for the wife and another odd 8 bottles of Bourbon. Met Lost Polito and what a great guy. Spent plenty of time with us even though it was a big shipping day. We will make that trip again! Thanks JOEEEE. I'll let you know how I like your daily pour!!

OK, fast forward 1 month. While in Chicago picking up my Weller antique, Lost Polito pointed out a bottle of Very Old Barton BIB with a 6 year age statement and 100proof. It's been in the cabinet for 3 weeks and I decided to try it. WOW, great daily pour and can't beat the price. $12.99. Well went back to Chicago and picked up a few to bunker as I know once the word gets out it will disappear and price will rise. At least that's what happened to me on the Old Weller Antique 107 Thanks again LP:grin:

I am going to make a special effort to see that, that happens. Of course I am going to find a nice hotel close by to Binnys and Mannys. Would love to meet you and a few of the guys on the board.

You should make it down for Whisky fest in late April if not sooner. We'll have tons of bottles open, and some distillers as well. Always a good idea to get a hotel for that weekend.
