Thanks, just first impressions but it was not what i was expecting for a younger rye - drinks much older, at least that is my initial reaction.

I've only seen this in NY and NJ ... so us thirsty bunch in the Northeast might be sopping it up ... best to look online for a shop in NY?

I believe it's distributed in the Chicago area. I haven't been up there recently to look for it, though.

I definitely get some rye bread notes on it still as it shows its youth. But the nicely integrated sweetness that is also present is likely the sherry finish and keeps the rye bread bite in check a bit.
