hectic1
I didn't realize these were available yet. I'll have to start searching around. I'm not sure that they're going to be available as this was a single barrel that was selected by the Lock and Key Society for bottling at Julio's. On the way home from the airport I stopped in a local honeypot and grabbed 4 liters of 89 OGD 86 and a OT 6yr 80pr from 89 as well...all 5 for under $85 out the door. T Comp
That Bonded Beam in teh Canon (copper color) decanter will be like no beam you have ever had. I have two of those...Very glad to hear that. I found one about a year ago with a fall 62/fall 70 tax stamp, buried in a glass case in a non dusty type store. From my understanding, CC is like Willetts, they can be all over the map. If you want to swap samples, let me know. Jake

birdman1099
It looks that way, not only Julios but also The Party Source, The Louisville Bourbon Society and Reid & Emerald.Julios is actually a Jeffersons bottling at 18 yrs. It is non-chill filtered but at 94 proof and in the standard Jeffersons bottle.also, since it was bottled this yr at 18 yrs that put distillation in early 1992. Could it be?????:skep:

IronHead
Stopped by a store last night after leaving the funeral home... I was hoping for a bottle of the new PHC wheater but saw some Weller 12 instead. Picked up a bottle and was pretty impressed. Put a pretty good dent in the bottle. WsmataU
It looks that way, not only Julios but also The Party Source, The Louisville Bourbon Society and Reid & Emerald.OK, so to clarify, these are all "Limited" bottles for various stores and not a 2010 release of JRPS at 18 yrs (vice the 2009 release at 17 yr). Is that correct?I missed out on the Shoppers Vineyard sale of JRPS. I From what I read the later batches (6-8) were slightly better. You guys must've cleaned them out pretty quickly because they don't even list it any more.
MJL
Been renewing my dusty bottle trails now that graduate school is over for me! Found a place with a sale on Glenfiddich for $24 a bottle so I stocked up on a few bottles for the coming winter. The prize of prizes is that I found a place with a bottle of Old Rip Van Winkle 10y proof that I scooped up...you just do not see Winkle products in SoFla for sale. I buy them on sight when encountered in this area.

Yes...Julio's in MA bought a barrel of JRPS and bottled it in it's unfiltered form...Jeffereson's wouldn't allow them to bottle it at barrel proof so it was bottled at the standard JRPS proof of 94.
DeanSheen
I got 2 Saz. Jr's here in Ohio after tracking some down. Such a pita to get this stuff here and it's always a win when I can buy it locally and NOT have to purchase an entire case.

ODaniel
Weller 12yr. Just a 750. Tempted to get a 1L or 1.75. I need to watch my spending though.
ThomasH
K&L wines in San Fran also did a barrel purchase of JRPS 18 that is unchill filtered. It yielded 100 bottles according to the website. I plan to get a bottle as they ship to Ohio. Also planning to get bottles of FR single barrel OESF and OBSF from either Binnys or Party Source. Thes are the last 2 of the 10 FR recipes I need to complete a set. Also will be getting some Wistlepig rye too. Haven't bought many bottles this year so these splurge bottles aren't that big of a deal. I'll consider them a birthday/chistmas gift from the wife, evven though she isn't aware of it yet!Thomas
