700ml bottle of Havana Club Barrel Proof rum.

2 liters of WT8 export.

Dave (CaptainQ) was also fortunate enough to buy a liter of WT8 thanks to a nice board member.

I have been on the road for a week attending a wedding in Roanoke, but I have been buying some juice.

They put me in charge of the Whiskey and trying to cover all bases for the parties I provided;

OFBB '08

ETL

WTRB

Fighting Cock

KC

Crown Black

EW 1783

and two dusties from the 70's I found on the way up - AA 10yr and Dickle 12.

On the way home I found a few more dusties;

OF bib bottled in '80

I.W. Harper gold vein small batch collection

OGD 114 bottled in '90

Old Hickory (?) bottled in Owensboro Ky

Cardhu Scotch bottled before bar codes

and "Black Bull" scotch bottled before bar codes.

Just getting back home while enjoying my visit to Ontario today. The Duty Free gave up a couple WT 8yr old, Liters $20.00 each, that's a deal!

Picked up a few of the new release of Weller 12. They're on tight allocation and going fast.

So much for production catching up with demand...

At a store in SE Wisconsin, just picked up 1 bottle of Stagg(70.7proof) for $52.99, and a bottle of Saz 18yr for $52.99. Way cheap! I believe they were last year's release, since Wisconsin has yet to see the fall releases.

Also picked up a VWFRR 13yr for $44.99.

One 50ml bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed.

And it's already gone so I think I need to go over to the "Empty Bottle Support Group" thread.

Stopped at a store on the way up to the jazz festival. Great place! Had a great selection, and decent prices. If not for the KBF next week, I could have spent a bunch. All I bought were a couple of bottles of AA BIB. But..... the weekend is just starting. Joe

Almost forgot, picked up a 150th Anniversary Early Times 375 too.

Jim Beam White - on sale with a $7 refund (final cost after rebate = $4). It'll work fine in my straight whiskey vatting adventures.

EWSB99

EWSB00

OGD114

Those two EWSB's give me a bottle of each from 1996-2000. Unfortunately, I drank all my doubles. Fortunately, I still have a line-up of EWSB that spans 4 distilleries. I really need to line 'em up and knock 'em back.

A little Craigslist hunting yielded an Old Grand-Dad 1957/1962. Sadly, I didn't see the ad early enough and another Grand-Dad and an Old Taylor were already purchased...

Went out for the new ofbb (shot in the dark since Josh didn't post what state he bought his in), but came away with ec12.

I know it gets mixed reviews, and deservedly so considering the batch variations, but if it ever went 'old #', I'd be looking for some good ones to bunker.

Picked up an OFBB today. I only went with one instead of buying two before tasting it like I did last year. I still have the majority of one 2009, the other I gave away.

Is that the 2010 OFBB? I'm trying to get my distributor to find me a few bottles as we speak.
Yes. I found it here in CT

I was thinking about 2 bottles of the K&L Jefferson's Presidential Reserve 18, but after reviewing the responses I received, I picked up 2 bottles of Pappy 15, 2 bottles of ORVW 10 107 and a bottle of OWA NAS for the same amount. I finished off all the OWA 7 yr that I had (very good) and thought I should give the new juice a try.
