I picked up a pretty pair of 2010 WLW today.

I also found a "get the stick out of your ass" kit locally on Craigslist. It's free to any SB'ers who could use it.

I heard Craigslist dropped the "adult" personals.

Tom Cousineau must have been cleaning out his attic.

I guess when your search words are "get" "your" "stick" and "ass", you must come across some postings that aren't exactly what you were looking for.

In this instance I shall defer to your well known depth of experience in such matters.

As far as the thread topic is concerned, I picked up a Makers 46 today to take to a family party.

Received an early Xmas present today, kinda' from my wife. A 2010 WLW and a handle of Weller SR. We were out and about, and my wife told me to pick out a couple of things. All is good. 'Tis the season. Cheers! Joe

I got a WT Rare Breed gift box yesterday that came with a glass decantner.

Thanks to the Ohio connection because none were available in MI.

Yesterday some of the OH & MI SB.com'ers met half way in Fremont and swapped bottles with each other in the parking lot of Bob Evans.

Breakfast before the contraband exchanging.

She also got me a book about the history of the Van Winkle family. Very cool.

I finally got my 2010 Stagg today (can't wait to crack it open!!) and a bottle of High West Rendezvous (didn't know you could get it in MA) yesterday. A good weekend I think. I got the Stagg at Lukes in Brewster on the Cape. I think they only have one bottle left, but I noticed a bunch of this years and last years Sazerac.

Robert I've had a decent amount of Stagg in the past, 10 bottles or so, but have decided I'm just not a fan of high octane whisky.

Got it. I only mention it because I have had several different years and I really like the way the 2010 turned out.

Pretty good haul considering I live in a control state. Got a little lucky when a store owner let it slip he had some Stagg and I immediately found another store near by that had just gotten some. (It's a real pain trying to get someone to look for these over the phone. "Oh yah, we have W.L. Weller" "How much is it?" "$20" ). Only bottle of WLW I could find was on hold for a restaurant, maybe. I might get it if it turns out all they wanted was some other BTAC. Might have more luck on Wednesday which is the next delivery day for stores around here.

Definitely put over 200 miles on my car driving around the state to pick up a bottle of Pappy here and there. I found one store with a slew of 15 year and I have a small regret not buying them out, but I'm sure someone else will enjoy them more than my bunker will. :)

I'm debating keeping the ER17 and Thomas Handy. I bought them because they're BTAC but I'm not sure if I remember liking them or not. I might open one of each and if I dislike them, return the others.

I'm going to go be poor for a while now.

Picked up 2 bottles of ORVW 10/107 this weekend. I had never seen it until about a week ago, found a store that had a few at $30, and picked one up. I went back for 2 more once I had a taste of it. Great stuff!

I picked up a 2008 FR Mariage in the Chicagoland area (Schaumburg) on Saturday and a VWFRR today, closer to home. What amazes me is the difference in sales tax in Illinois. It was 11.5% for the Mariage versus 7.25% for the VW. Doesn't bode well for Binny's (unless they open a store closer to me)
