dean_martin
Pinnacle - cheap, smooth could actually drink it straight no burn what so ever.Yep, this is our regular vodka for screwdrivers, vodka sunrises and my wife's vodka and cranberry.
squire
Is Smirnoff still the No.1 selling distilled brand Worldwide?
Brisko
I usually keep a bottle of Skyy on hand because it's very clean finishing and I can get a handle for about $20 at Costco. I believe they source industrial ethanol and add springwater to it to get the "flavor" profile they want.I also don't mind Stoli but it has a slightly bigger mouthfeel and a bit of an aftertaste, I guess. Parkersback
I hate to keep linking to articles that you can only partially read (unless you have the New Yorker digital subscription), but this is a great article on the effect of vodka on Russia.http://www.newyorker.com/archive/2002/12/16/021216fa_fact_erofeyevSo but I'll also link this, which is a short article about the same thing, and a video that shows the inadvertent destruction of thousands of bottles of vodka in Russia.http://thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/11/03/tackling-the-russian-god/
jcg9779
I'm with you, Brisko. I keep Skyy on hand for mixing, and I do like Belvedere and Chopin (not at all a fan of Grey Goose - it tastes dirty to me).
