kbuzbee
(by the way it is a blend of rums, is my understanding). My understanding as well. Different ages and from different distilleries. If this were Bourbon I'd be going "Yeah right!" But it works. And, around here, it's like $24. I found it (actually ThomasH found it) at Hi Times for $18! I got , um... a few!Ken
Gillman
Well that is a very good price, it is certainly an excellent value for that money. I like Pyrat, I've had the X.O. and Pistol. I admire what the pros can do, and then think, can I come close..? I enjoy trying. Gary
Joeluka
Gee, Joe, that's kinda rude... We're all friends here....KenRude???? I was just trying to egg Tim into getting into the world of Rums. Its hard to put into words someone's passions sometimes. Tim is a friend and I already made sure that he understood where I was coming from in a PM. Sorry if I offended you though Ken. Good look'n out!!!!

I really like and value the community we have here. I consider Tim a friend of mine as well, so, if anything, I was just worried for/about him. Glad to hear vigilance was not required :-)Cheers,Ken

Paulbrad25
I've tried Sea Wynde, its a vatting of 3 differant production methods as far as i can figure and I found it a bit uneven, almost gimmicky.Does someone with a bit more detailed knowledge than me want to explain the differance between Rum age statements and the Solero system as there seems to be some uncertainty
