Parkersback
My first bottle of Russell's Reserve 10/90. I was going to make Rare Breed my next Turkey, but the RR was $5+ cheaper and I was feeling frugal.I am surprised at how sweet this whiskey is. Tons of vanilla. I expected more char, more WT rye ooomph. But I like sweet. It's a good bourbon.I think I can tell why people may have preferred it at 100 proof. But I like the current iteration. bourbon-n00b
Discovered another place that will ship out to me, so went with 4 handles of the HH 6 year BiB. At a little over $26 per out the door, this should provide a lot of fine drinkin' for the summer.

I've resisted buying one of these because of the high price tag, but I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts on this PHC release.

camduncan
On a budget this week, so got a bottle of Nelson Countty on special for $25.90 (and yes, that is VERY cheap for an Australian Bourbon)..... thanks Heaven Hill for keeping the price real! Virus_Of_Life
That Willett 25yo only produced 25 bottles?27 years old. 24 bottles. 69.3%abv.:grin:Oscar, as Joe pointed out it was the 27 year that only had 24 bottles. The 25 year was only 90.2 proof and had 96 bottles. I wanted the 27 year because I heard this was a S-W barrel, and I could be wrong, but believe it was the barrel Dougdog had samples of a few years ago and it was beyond spectacular. RyanL
Elmer T Lee Single Barrel is the lastest pickup. Not a bad drop.Really great bottle to have around for when you're in the mood for that after dinner desert pour.Has anyone picked up a bottle of the OWA107 TPS bottling and have an opinion. I still haven't picked up a bottle of the NAS yet but just recently opened a 08 OWA107 7yr and was pretty impressed with it. I've read great things about the new NAS but was wondering if the TPS was possibly even better than the rest?
