More research suggests that it was not Jesse Moore from Worcester, Mass who was in Louisville in the whiskey business, but that my great uncle, George Moore, married Jessie (maiden name also Moore) "from Louisville, KY Nov. 30, 1894," and that her family was involved in distilling. Could have been a daughter of Jesse Moore, or some branch of the Kentucky Moores. There is still a belief that she was related to the Worcester family, perhaps a distant cousin.
