Today I had to restock some bottles that I had finished so I picked up a Bulleit Rye, Wild Turkey 101 and a bottle of Eagle Rare 10 y/o.

Well I didn't purchase it, but I received the awesome gift of a Jefferson's Presidential Select 17 y/o today. I have never seen this bottle in Atlanta (all I've found is the 18 y/o). I look forward to trying this and comparing it to the 18 y/o bottle!

Yesterday, I picked up 3 bottles of Parker's Heritage Collection Golden Anniversary. Excitement doesn't begin to describe it. Only $120 each, too.

Received another nice package in the mail today, although this one wasn't free!

Very nice Jack! What time can I stop by?

I picked up another PHC wheat for the bunker today. Its been sitting there a while and was the store's last bottle. I had to grab it before it was gone.

Bought a WTRB gift set with 2 heavy rocks glasses. I'll rarely use the glasses, but it's always nice to get something extra.

Single Oak Project, barrel 191. Purchased blind. I haven't found any info. on this one, but it has the deepest color of the four I saw.

The new Jefferson's Rye made it into town. Grabbed a bottle and looking forward to cracking it open later tonight. From what most have said, not a bad pour.

Picked up a bottle of the Ridgemont 1792 the other day. Wanted the EWSB but the new case we got in is the 2001 Vintage and AFAIK the verdict is still out on that particular batch. Going to wait a little longer on that one.

EC18 binny's, AAA10, JTS BIB, and Rendezvous Rye. I got to sample a EC18 barreled on 4/8/91 and it was magic, so I pulled the trigger on one that was barreled on 4/19/90. I'm going to wait a bit before I open any of them, though. I've got over 20 different bottles open!

Not bourbon but...... I was out of town today, and on the way home I stopped at a store. I bought a bottle of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel for $25.99. Couldn't pass it up at that price. Joe

That is great price...I don't think I could pass that up either!

Replaced an EC12 this morning--the last bottle was great and went over well with friends.

What year was the 2011 birthday bourbon distilled?

Thomas

The metro Detroit area yielded 2 handles of ND OGD 86 from 1984 this afternoon...I love it when the owner tries to upsell his bourbon that has been sitting on the shelf for 27yrs...;)
