mosugoji64
A friend of mine ran across this bottle earlier in the week. From what we've read, we thought that Yellowstone was only made in 80 proof these days. Could this be something new?
PaulO
I recall seeing the 86 proof Yellowstone as far back as the mid '90s, when I started to get really interested in bourbon. I'm pretty sure it goes back many years before that. I don't know if we can get it in IN, but they also have 90 proof in KY. At one time there also was a B.I.B. version. That may have been discontinued.
mosugoji64
Thanks for the reply. What were your thoughts on the Yellowstone? I found it to be very sweet and a little off-putting if you're not expecting it. It's almost like a dessert bourbon.
PaulO
My thoughts on Yellowstone are that it is light colored and flavored, not bad for bottom shelf.
